Rigid filament is made using ceramic substrate. Unlike the flexible filament, it needs to be handled and installed with care to prevent breakage.

As with all our items, this component will be carefully packed to ensure safe shipping.

LED filament performs better than EL Wire, in that it is completey silent in operation and uses little power.

These filaments are not prewired, and require a suitable resistor for use at higher voltages.
