A standard ultra bright LED will use 20mA of current.

Check that all of the LEDs that you intend to power will operate at 5V DC.

For best operation, it is recommended to power up to a maximum of 900mA of components - which would be up to 45 standard ultra bright LEDs connected in parallel.
