 The set (along with the majority of our light kits) is completely pre-wired and ready to install. No electronic work required, just drill fitting holes as required in your model.

The set is run by two 9v batteries (not included), and has two slide switch units fitted next to the battery clips.

This set is suitable for Falcons approximately 460mm long x 325mm wide, such as some of the AMT / ERTL models that are fully enclosed.

This set is not suitable for the Cutaway model version, due to the need to conceal the wiring.

LED Colours & Intended Uses As Follows:


Cockpit Detail:
x1 Colour changing red/green/blue 1mm fibre optic led, five fibres, each fibre 100mm long from light source.

x1  3mm Warm White led.

x2   3mm Cool White leds.

The cockpit leds and fibre bundle is fed by a 300mm extension wire.

Underside Detail:
x4  5mm Warm White Leds
x4  3mm Warm White Leds
x1  2-strand red fibre unit for underside lower front lights
x4  5-strand cool white fibre units
x1  3mm Ultra Violet led for underside central clear section.
x1  3mm Warm White for top central clear section.

Side Panels:
x2  4-strand red fibre units.

Ramp
x1  3mm Warm White led.

Front Lights
x4  3mm Warm White leds.

(Two lights for each side of the Falcon, each side on a 500mm extension wire.)

Booster
x1  x18 SMD Led Strip - Neon Blue - 30cm Long.

The light kit is fitted with screw terminal blocks, making it easier to take apart and install the switch and battery wires. There are two of these, each 500mm long, running to a 9v battery clip.
An spdt slide switch is fitted to each on a 200mm wire, next to the battery clip, which can easily be fitted in the models display stand.

Each led has 180mm wire, that runs to the terminal connector. Please see the photos for better understanding.


We use 1mm fibre optic, which gives the best lighting performance for its purpose by far.

The fibre optics can carefully be cut to size to fit the model. Wire lengths can also be altered by the model builder if necessary.

Requires x2 9volt battery (not included).


This set has the same lighting layout as the Revell Version 2 Set, with the addition of the headlight units and longer booster strip leds.
