Revell 1/144 Master Series

(Will also fit Bandai 1/144 models)

This light kit has been designed and built primarily for use with the Revell 1/144 Millennium Falcon model, but will also fit the Bandai models of the same scale.

The set (along with the majority of our light kits) is completely pre-wired and ready to install. No electronic work required, just drill fitting holes as required in your model.

This is a great quality light kit featuring led and fibre optic strand units, that is intended to help recreate the scene shown from the Force Awakens movie.

LED Colours & Intended Uses As Follows:

This is a more advanced set, and probably not the best choice if it's your first attempt at model lighting as this is a relatively small model.

The body shell of the model does need to be drilled and cut to make room for this light kit. It is installed in the same manner as the Bandai kits - the recommended fibre optic positions are detailed here:

Revell 1:144 Millennium Falcon

This light kit contains:

Cockpit Detail:

x1  3mm Warm White led, 180mm wire loom.

Underside Detail:

x1 3mm Ultra Violet static led on 100mm wire loom for central section gun ports (there is only a single UV led for these as in this scene, this section is dimly lit)

Addition Detail

x1 STATIC red fibre optic led. Ten 0.5mm fibres - 100mm fibre length and 100mm wire loom. These are great to pick out any additional top / underside lighting if needed for extra detail, although are not shown in the scene screen-shot.

Front Running Lights

x1 STATIC red fibre optic led. Two 1mm fibres - 100mm fibre length and 100mm wire loom. These are intended to recreate the red inner front running lights as shown in the scene. You may also use two strands of the aforementioned 0.5mm red fibre optic if required instead, depending on how prominent you wish to make these.

Power Supply
x1  CR2032 Battery Box with switch. Main power lead is 500mm long.

(Requires two CR2032 batteries - not included)


The fibre optics can carefully be cut to size to fit the model. Wire lengths can also be altered by the model builder if necessary as they run to a terminal connector.
